Shipping Policy

Effective Date: 27 June 2026

1. Order Processing Time All orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation, in coordination with our India-based distribution partner, Ancient Alchemy LLP. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed, and a shipping notification with tracking information once dispatched.

2. Shipping Destinations We currently ship across India.  If you are outside India and wish to place an order, please contact Customer Care team on whatsapp message on +91 8779793768 to discuss shipping estimate for your destination.

3. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times Upon order confirmation, we take 1-2 business days for processing the order. Shipping and logistics across India are managed by Ancient Alchemy LLP, our authorised distributing partner, via local courier partners. The Estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout before payment:

  • Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune): 4-5 business days
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 6-7 business days
  • Remote access or rural areas: 7–10 business days

These are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier issues, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Free standard shipping on orders above ₹3999. 
  • A flat shipping fee of ₹249 (standard outside Mumbai) and  ₹599 (Express outside Mumbai)applies to orders below this amount.
  • Shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment.

5. Order Tracking Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via WhatsApp / email and/or SMS. You can use this to track your shipment on the courier partner's website. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to become active after dispatch.

6. Delays & Exceptions SVA Plant Based Hair Dyes or our distributing partner Ancient Alchemy LLP is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier partner delays or strikes.
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
  • Natural disasters, rain, floods, or other force majeure events.
  • Public holidays or peak season surges.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate with the courier partner.

7. Failed Deliveries & Returned Shipments If a delivery attempt fails due to the customer being unavailable or an incorrect address:

  • The courier will typically make 2–3 delivery attempts
  • If the package is returned to us, we will contact you to reship at an additional shipping charge
  • If you choose not to reship, a refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost

8. Damaged in Transit If your order arrives damaged, please:

  1. Take photos or a video of the damaged package and product immediately upon receipt
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contactancientalchemy@gmail.com / WhatsApp message to +91 8779793768 with your order number and photos.
  3. We will arrange a free replacement or refund depending on stock availability

We reserve the right to decline damage claims reported after 48 hours of delivery.

9. Lost Shipments If your tracking shows the package as delivered but you have not received it:

  • First check with neighbours, building security, or your mailbox
  • Contact us within 5 days of the marked delivery date
  • We will raise a complaint with the courier and investigate. If confirmed lost, we will reship or refund at our discretion

10. Payment Methods We accept prepaid orders only via credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

11. Address Accuracy Please ensure your full and accurate delivery address is entered at checkout, including flat/house number, street, landmark, city, state, and PIN code. SVA Plant Based Hair Dyes or Ancient Alchemy LLP is not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect address information provided by the customer. Address changes after an order is placed cannot be guaranteed.
